Ticket swap

Swapping your ticket?

Can’t attend? Then you can only sell your ticket if you know someone else who is interested.
To do so, use our DotoSwap from 15 June.

What do you need to know about the DotoSwap?

  • You know someone who wants to take your ticket.
  • The payment goes entirely through the 100Km Dodentocht organisation. The seller gets his/her money through the organisation)
  • To swap your ticket and put it on another name, you pay a 5 euro administration fee. The buyer also pays via the organisation.
  • As a seller, you offer your ticket via the link and enter the buyer’s details.
  • The buyer will receive an e-mail to take over the ticket.

Note! If you buy a ticket that is not in your own name then you are not insured during 100KM Dodentocht.

Working method

Step 1 - Start

Go to https://swap.dodentocht.be and enter the following details:

  • the reference of the order for which you wish to start a transfer.
  • the e-mail address of the transferee.

Step 2 - Confirmation by the provider

We will send an e-mail to the e-mail address that was used during registration. In this e-mail there is a link to the swap website where the provider can give their agreement (or refusal) for the transfer.

This link remains valid for 24 hours.

Step 3 - Confirmation by the transferee

After confirmation by the seller, we will send an e-mail to the transferee (address entered in step 1).
The transferee must also confirm that he/she wishes to proceed with the transfer.

This link remains valid for 24 hours.

Step 4 - Create new order

After confirmation by the transferee, that person will receive an e-mail with a voucher code with which they can enter a new “swap” order.

This link remains valid for 24 hours.

During this order, the transferee must fill in the requested data, confirm the order and make the payment.

In this order, a fictitious starting number is temporarily assigned, after payment of the order, the correct starting number will be transferred from the original order, to the new order.

Step 5 - closure

After the new order has been paid for, the following is done:

  • the start number effectively transferred
  • the original order is cancelled and the amount paid (- €5 cancellation fee) is refunded to the provider
  • the provider receives an e-mail that the transfer was successful

!!! Attention

In case of buying a ticket with extras (t-shirt and/or meal), you will not initially see these extras in the order.
However, after placing the order, it will briefly appear in “Waiting for approval”. At that point, the extras are added to the order and payment can be made.
This normally takes only 1 to 2 minutes and you will receive an e-mail when payment can be made.
