The 56nd edition promises to be great!

The 56nd edition of the international 100 km Dodentocht is scheduled for Friday august 8th, 2025. The 100 km Dodentocht is a non-competitive hike which challenges you to hike (or jog) 100 km in a minimum of 10 hours and a maximum of 24 hours. You can only participate if you have registered in advance. 

Also in 2025 we keep the limit on 13 000 hikers to guarantee their safety and to ensure it maintains feasible for the many volunteers who contribute to the Dodentocht weekend. 

Registration - exchange

Can’t attend? Then you can only sell your ticket if you know someone else who is interested.
To do so, use our DotoSwap from 15 June.

What do you need to know about the DotoSwap?

  • You know someone who wants to take your ticket.
  • The payment goes entirely through the 100Km Dodentocht organisation. The seller gets his/her money through the organisation)
  • To swap your ticket and put it on another name, you pay a 5 euro administration fee. The buyer also pays via the organisation.
  • As a seller, you offer your ticket via the link and enter the buyer’s details.
  • The buyer will receive an e-mail to take over the ticket.

Note! If you buy a ticket that is not in your own name then you are not insured during 100KM Dodentocht.

Price

Participation in the 100km Death March cost 59 euro. This includes:

A participants’ T-shirt costs 10 euros. A hot meal at the 50-km checkpoint costs 15 euros.

Keep in mind that advance registration is only possible by means of an online payment (Creditcard, Apple Pay, Bancontact, Belfius Pay button, Giropay, iDEAL, KBC/CBC pay button).

Do not forget to order the exclusive participants’ T-shirt or hot meal at the halfway checkpoint when signing up.

This will not be possible afterwards. 

When?

Registration for the 56th edition is not yet possible. This is presumably scheduled for March/April 2025.

You can register for the 56nd edition of the 100km Dodentocht from March 22, 2025 to 9am.

Entries for the edition of the 100km Dodentocht are currently being checked. Double registrations, registrations with outstanding payments, … are systematically removed. This means that tickets will be released regularly.

Registrations for the 56ste edition of the 100km Death March will open in spring 2023.

How do I register?

Step 1

Complete the online registration form. After entering your personal information, choosing your ticket and any optional products (T-shirt, meal), you will be taken to the payment page.

Step 2

Paying for your pre-registration is done online only. You enter your payment card details, and depending on the payment method chosen, you will be shown the verification page of your bank or card provider.

Step 3

Once your payment has been successful, you  will receive an e-mail confirming your registration, your start number and additional useful information.

Like any data collector, we are bound by GDPR regulations. You can find our policy here. When registering, you automatically agree to the terms and conditions and regulations of the International 100km Dodentocht

Additional information

Pickup days will continue on the following days:

  • July 27, 2024 1-5 pm
  • August 3, 2024 1-5 pm
  • August 7, 2024 15-19h

It is also possible to pick up your participation envelope on Friday August 9, 2024 in the tent on the Kardinaal Cardijnplein in Bornem, between 1 and 8:30 pm.

In the envelope you will find the following items:

  • Control badge with start number: The control badge must be worn visibly during the entire walk. It is used for registration at the checkpoints during the Dodentocht. This registration happens automatically. At the checkpoints it is mandatory to wear the badge on top of your clothing. If you ordered a meal then this is also on your badge.
  • Wristband: the wristband serves as an extra control at the checkpoints.
  • Lanyard: cord to wear your badge around your neck during Death March.

You can only order a participants’ T-shirt during the advance registration. You can choose from the sizes S – M – L – XL – XXL. A T-shirt costs 10 euros. 

You can pick up your participants’ T-shirt upon presentation of your registration envelope on one of the pick-up days or on the actual day of the 100 km Dodentocht between 13:00 and 20:30 in the large tent on the Kardinaal Cardijnplein. 

If you are unable to participate due to unforeseen circumstance but still wish to receive your participants’ T-shirt, you can also pick it up on one of the pick-up days or on Friday august 8th, 2025. We will not send any T-shirts by mail. 

Did you forget to order your T-shirt or meal during your registration? We can still make changes to your registration. Contact the Internal Affairs department using the contact form. Keep in mind that we will charge 5 euros in administrative fees. 

For changes to registrations (if you have forgotten to order a T-shirt or a meal, for example), please contact the Internal Affairs department using the contact form. Changes will result in an administrative fee of 5 euros. 

Are you registered and you still cannot participate in the 56nd edition of the international 100km Dodentocht?

Your registration can be taken over by someone you know. The conversion is fully automatic and can be done from mid-June.
